Moving to Mexico City is one of the best decisions you can make — but between finding an apartment, opening a bank account as a foreigner, and registering your CURP and RFC, the logistics can feel overwhelming fast.
At Gestor Migratorio Alarcón, I help expats, digital nomads, and newly arrived professionals settle into CDMX with confidence. As a Mexico City expat consultant and immigration advisor, I go beyond the paperwork — I help you build your life here from day one.
Already working with me on your residency or work permit? Relocation support is a natural next step, and I already know your case.
Finding the right neighbourhood in Mexico City without local knowledge is tricky. CDMX has very distinct areas, each with its own vibe, price range, and proximity to business districts.
As your relocation consultant in Mexico City, I help you narrow down your options based on your lifestyle, budget, and work location — whether you're considering Polanco, Condesa, Roma Norte, Santa Fe, Coyoacán, or Narvarte.

Most landlords in CDMX require an aval (Mexican guarantor) or a deposit of 2–3 months' rent. I'll help you navigate this.
Not all banks in Mexico make it easy for foreign residents. Requirements vary by institution, and the process can be frustrating without guidance.
I help you identify the most foreigner-friendly banks in Mexico City, understand what documents you need as a temporary resident, and know what to expect during the process.
Bank approval is ultimately at the institution's discretion. My role is to prepare you and maximise your chances of success.
Two essential documents for daily life and work in Mexico:
CURP — Mexico's national ID number. Required for opening bank accounts, accessing health services, and signing contracts.
RFC — Your tax ID with the SAT. Essential if you plan to invoice, freelance, or receive formal income in Mexico.
I guide you through both registrations and can accompany you to the relevant offices in CDMX.
